How to work through the library
- Pick your market first.About a third of the stock setups need earnings, dividends, or exchange volume, which FX doesn't have. The toggle hides what doesn't apply.
- Start with a regime filter.Setup #1 decides direction and size before any entry. In stocks it tells you when to cut back; in FX it tells you whether to look for longs or shorts.
- Choose two or three setups, not twenty-five.A trend pullback (#7) and one breakout (#6 or #21) cover most of what the library teaches.
- Paper trade and journal every one.Log each trade in the Journal. Fifty trades per setup is the minimum before you judge whether it works for you.
- Size every trade from the stop.Use the sizing tools so a loss costs a fixed share of the account. Most blown accounts come from size, not from the setup.
- Go live small, only with what earned it.A setup that shows a positive average R over 50 paper trades can move to a small live account. Everything else stays on paper.
Overlaps to collapse
- #7 and #24Same pullback with different averages. Run one.
- #10 and #25Both trade the news gap. #25 just adds a first-hour filter.
- #9 and #23#23 is the defined version of earnings drift.
- #1 and #2The golden cross confirms what the 200-day already said.
- #15A veto on every entry, not a setup of its own.
